SEATTLE, Sept. 10 (UPI) -- Michael Young drove in the winning run Sunday afternoon with an RBI single in the top of the ninth inning as Texas beat the Seattle Mariners, 4-2.
Young had three hits and two RBI; Carlos Lee hit a sacrifice fly; and Mark Texeira drove in the other run for the Rangers (73-71), who have split their last 10 games.

In relief, the winner was Craig Wilson (2-2).
Akinori Otsuka recorded his 32nd save.
Ben Broussard hit a solo home run and had three hits; and Yuniesky Betancourt hit an RBI single for the Mariners (68-74), who had a four-game winning streak snapped.
The losing pitcher was reliever Jon Huber (1-1).
