NFL: Jacksonville 24, Dallas 17

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Sept. 10 (UPI) -- Byron Leftwich and Fred Taylor ran for fourth quarter touchdowns Sunday afternoon as Jacksonville rallied to beat Dallas, 24-17.

Leftwich completed 23-of-34 passes for 237 yards. Taylor added 74 yards and the touchdown on 21 carries, Matt Jones made five catches for 71 yards, Earnest Wilford made three receptions for 58 yards, and Reggie Williams caught a six-yard touchdown pass from Leftwich for the Jaguars (1-0).

Jacksonville's defense made three interceptions.

Drew Bledsoe was 16-of-33 for 246 yards with one touchdown, and the three interceptions. Terrell Owens made six catches for 80 yards and one touchdown in his Dallas debut, Julius Jones had 72 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries, and Terry Glenn had four receptions for 81 yards for the Cowboys (0-1).

Dallas scored the game's first 10 points, but could not hold on to its early lead.
