TUSCALOOSA, Ala., Sept. 2 (UPI) -- Leigh Tiffin connected on three field goals Saturday as the 24th-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide posted a 25-17 victory over the Hawaii Warriors.

Sophomore quarterback John Parker Wilson of Alabama (1-0) hit 16-of-29 passing for 253 yards and a touchdown.

The Warriors (0-1) were paced by Colt Brennan who finished the night 30-of-44 for 350 yards with two touchdowns and one interception.
