John Parker Wilson (born October 17, 1985) is an American football player from Hoover, Alabama. He is currently a quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League. He signed with the Falcons as a free agent after going undrafted in the 2009 NFL Draft. He played college football at Alabama. Wilson attended Hoover High School in Hoover, Alabama. His younger brother Ross was also a former quarterback for the Hoover High School football team and was featured on MTV's Two-A-Days.
In 2005 as a freshman, Wilson saw action in four games, completing a pass in each appearance. He threw his first career touchdown pass on a 36–yard strike to Keith Brown in Alabama’s 37–14 win at South Carolina.
He completed 63.6% of his passes, throwing for 98 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions.
