ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Aug. 24 (UPI) -- Jorge Cantu and Carl Crawford homered Wednesday night as Tampa Bay beat the Texas Rangers, 7-3, for its third straight win.
Cantu had three hits, including a solo home run, and three RBI; Crawford's homer was a two-run blast in the seventh inning; B.J. Upton and Rocco Baldelli each knocked in a run; and Baldelli had three hits for the Devil Rays (52-75), who have split their last 10 games.
In relief, the winner was Shaun Camp (6-1).
Mark Texeira hit a two-run homer; and Rod Barajas had two of the six hits, including an RBI double, for the Rangers (65-63), who have dropped three in a row and split their last 10 games.
Losing pitcher Kevin Millwood (12-9) yielded six runs and eight hits in 6 1/3 innings with four walks and seven strikeouts.
