MIAMI, Aug. 23 (UPI) -- Miguel Cabrera hit two homers and knocked in four runs Wednesday night as Florida held on to beat Washington, 9-7, for its fourth straight win.
Cabrera had three runs and three hits; Jeremy Hermida hit a two-run single; Dan Uggla had two runs, two hits and one RBI; while starter and winner Scott Olsen added a two-run single for the Marlins (60-66), who led 9-2 after three innings.
Florida has split it last 10 games.
Olsen (10-7) gave up three runs and seven hits in six innings with three walks and seven strikeouts.
Daryle Ward hit a three-run homer in the ninth; Austin Kearns and Henry Mateo hit solo homers; Mateo had two hits and two RBI; and Alex Escobar hit an RBI double for the Nationals (54-73), who have dropped their last five games.
Losing pitcher Tony Armas Jr. (8-9) surrendered eight runs and 10 hits in 1 2/3 innings.
