NFL: Dallas 30, New Orleans 7

SHREVEPORT, La., Aug. 21 (UPI) -- Drew Bledsoe accounted for 156 yards and two touchdowns on 12-of-16 passing Monday to lead the Dallas Cowboys to a 30-7 win over the New Orleans Saints.

Terry Glenn caught four passes for 71 yards and a score. Backup quarterback Tony Romo was 6-of-8 for 138 yards and a TD.

Terrell Owens did not play in the pre-season game. The wide receiver missed 14 straight practices with a hamstring injury before returning to the field on Aug. 16. Coach Bill Parcells felt that he needed more preparation time before playing in a game.

Drew Brees threw for 67 yards on 7-of-12 passing in the loss, while No. 2 overall pick Reggie Bush was limited to 21 total yards.
