MLB: Florida 4, Philadelphia 1

PHILADELPHIA, July 28 (UPI) -- Ricky Nolasco allowed one hit in 7 1/3 scoreless innings Friday night to lead Florida over the Philadelphia Phillies, 4-1.

Mike Jacobs hit an RBI double, Jeremy Hermida hit a two-run single, and Alfredo Amezaga and Dan Uggla both had two hits for the Marlins (48-53), who have won six of their last seven games.

Nolasco (9-6), who took a no-hitter into the seventh, walked five batters and struck out three. His no-hit bid was broken up by an infield single by Abraham Nunez in the seventh.

Chase Utley singled in his final at-bat to extend his hitting streak to 28 games, and Ryan Howard hit a solo homer in the ninth for the Phillies (46-54), who had only three hits and have split their last four games.

Losing pitcher Brett Myers (6-5) gave up one run and five hits in eight innings with one walk and eight strikeouts.
