MLB: Minnesota 5, Cleveland 2

MINNEAPOLIS, July 16 (UPI) -- Jason Tyner had a two-run double in a three-run fourth inning Sunday as the Minnesota Twins posted a 5-2 win over the Cleveland Indians.

Luis Castillo and Michael Cuddyer homered and Rondell White returned from the 15-day disabled list and went 2-for-3 with a homer and two runs scored for the Twins, who have won four of their last six games.

Minnesota's Torii Hunter was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a stress fracture in his left metatarsal before the game, while outfielder Josh Rabe was recalled from Triple-A Rochester.

Carlos Silva (5-9) got the win after giving up two runs on five hits in six innings.

Grady Sizemore hit a home run and Casey Blake drove in a run for the Indians, who have lost five of their last six games.
