Clarke and Bjorn share Scottish Open lead

GLASGOW, Scotland, July 15 (UPI) -- Thomas Bjorn shot a 66 Saturday to tie second-round leader Darren Clarke (71) for a share of the of the 54-hole lead at the Barclays Scottish Open.

The two are at 11-under 202 and two strokes ahead at Loch Lomond.

Benn Barham fired a 6-under 65 to vault up 26 spots into a share of fourth place. Barham joined David Drysdale (69) and Andres Romero (68) at 9-under 204.

Defending champion Tim Clark had a third-round 69 and is tied for seventh place with Raphael Jacquelin (65), Damien McGrane (71) and Jean-Francois Remesy (67) at 205.

Clarke began the third round with a three-shot lead and was 13 under after Saturday's sixth hole.

Now it's a battle with his friend and former Ryder Cup teammate Bjorn as Clarke goes for his 11th European Tour victory but his first since the 2003 WGC-NEC Invitational.
