MLS: D.C. United 1, New England 1 (draw)

FOXBORO, Mass., June 17 (UPI) -- D.C. United and the New England Revolution played to a 1-1 draw Saturday in a Major League Soccer battle at Foxboro, Mass.

Jaime Moreno gave United a first-half lead with the 102nd goal of his MLS career in the 44th minute. New England's Andy Dorman scored the equalizer in the 86th minute.

It was Dorman's second late equalizer in as many games, and the second straight game United allowed a goal two minutes from the end. It happened in a 1-1 draw at Los Angeles last Saturday.

After the draw, D.C. United is in first place in the Eastern Conference with a 7-1-5 record and 26 points. New England (3-4-4) is fourth in the East with 14 points.

Next week, United is at home against Chicago on Wednesday, when New England is at Columbus.
