MLB: Baltimore 6, Tampa Bay 5 (11 inn.)

BALTIMORE, May 31 (UPI) -- Melvin Mora hit a game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the 11th inning Wednesday night as Baltimore edged Tampa Bay, 6-5, for its third straight win.

Overall, Mora had three hits and the RBI; Jeff Conine had two runs and two hits; and Nick Markakis had one run, two hits, and two RBI for the Orioles (25-28).

In relief, winner Sendy Rleal improved to 1-1.

Carl Crawford hit a three-run homer; Damon Hollins had two runs, two hits and one RBI; and Travis Lee had two hits for the Devil Rays (21-32), who have dropped a season-high six-straight games.

The loser was closer Tyler Walker (1-4).

In his major league debut, Baltimore starter James Shields was charged with five runs and nine hits in five innings.
