MLB: N.Y. Yankees 15, Kansas City 4

NEW YORK, May 27 (UPI) -- Alex Rodriguez hit two home runs Saturday to help the New York Yankees clobber Kansas City, 15-4.

Rodriguez finished with two runs, four hits and three RBI.

Miguel Cairo had four hits, two hits and three RBI; Kelly Stinnett, who also homered, had two runs, three hits, and four RBI; and Melky Cabrera had one run, two hits and three RBI for the Yankees (27-20), who have won three of their last four games.

Winner Chien-Ming Wang improved to 5-2.

Matt Stairs, Tony Graffanino, Aaron Guiel and Angel Berroa all had an RBI; and both Guiel and Graffanino had two hits for the Royals (11-36), who broke a 13-game losing streak on Friday night when they edged the Yankees, 7-6.

Losing pitcher Jeremy Affeldt (2-5) was torched for 10 runs and 11 hits in 5 1/3 innings.
