MLB: Cleveland 3, Pittsburgh 2

CLEVELAND, May 21 (UPI) -- Grady Sizemore struck out four times but singled home the winning run in the bottom of the 10th Sunday as the Cleveland Indians beat Pittsburgh, 3-2.

Jhonny Peralta went 3-for-4 with one RBI for the Indians, who have won five of their last six. Jason Michaels went 2-for-5 with two runs scored.

Paul Byrd allowed two runs on six hits with four strikeouts over seven innings but did not figure in the decision. Bob Wickman (1-0) got his first win of the year, allowing just two hits with a strikeout over the final two innings.

Nate McLouth went 3-for-5 with a run scored for the Pirates, who have dropped three of four. Jeromy Burnitz went 2-for-4 with an RBI, and Freddy Sanchez went 2-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored -- and extended his hitting streak to 12 games.

Pirates left-hander Paul Maholm allowed one run on four hits with three walks and seven strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings. Reliever Mike Gonzalez (1-3) gave up the winning run on three hits in just 2/3 of an inning.
