Biffle wins Nextel Cup race at Darlington

DARLINGTON, S.C., May 13 (UPI) -- Greg Biffle won Saturday night's Dodge Charger 500 Nextel Cup race at the Darlington (S.C.) Raceway.

Biffle, driving a Ford, finished 0.209 seconds ahead of runner-up Jeff Gordon.

The victory was Biffle's first this season, the 10th of his Nextel Cup career.

Matt Kenseth, Jimmie Johnson and Dale Earnhardt Jr. completed the top-five.

Next week NASCAR holds its non-points Nextel All-Star Challenge at the Lowe's Motor Speedway in Concord, N.C. The winner of the race takes home more than $1 million.
