Maddux' RBI came in a 3-run Chicago fifth inning that put the Cubs up 4-0. His single drove in Matt Murton and the pitcher later scored on Walker's sacrifice fly.

The Dodgers scored in the bottom of the inning with J.D. Drew reaching home from first on Bill Mueller's double.
