SALT LAKE CITY, April 13 (UPI) -- Carlos Boozer had 25 points and 13 rebounds Wednesday night as Utah beat the Denver Nuggets, 104-83.
Mehmet Okur had 24 points, two assists and 10 rebounds; Andrei Kirilenko totaled 14 points, seven assists and five rebounds; Deron Williams added 14 points, three rebounds and nine assists; and Matt Harpring had 13 points, five rebounds and two assists for the Jazz (39-39).
The win pulled Utah to within 1 1/2 games of idle Sacramento for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
Carmelo Anthony had 18 points, five rebounds and five assists; Linas Kleiza had 16 points and three rebounds; Greg Buckner had 13 points and five rebounds; while both Reuben Patterson and Howard Eisley scored 10 points for the Nuggets (44-35).
Denver had a three-game winning streak broken and lost the season series, 3-1.
The Nuggets sank to 1-4 in their last five games.
