MLB: San Francisco 12, Atlanta 6

SAN FRANSCISCO, Calif., April 8 (UPI) -- Omar Vizquel went 4-for-4 with five RBI and three runs scored Saturday as San Francisco ripped the Atlanta Braves, 12-6.

Steve Finley, Moises Alou and Todd Greene all had two hits apiece.

In seven innings, winner Jamey Wright (1-0) yielded four runs and five hits with five walks and four strikeouts.

Edgar Renteria and Chipper Jones both had three RBI, Matt Diaz added two hits and two RBI, and loser Tim Hudson (0-1) was shelled for eight runs and eight hits in just four innings.

He walked three and had no strikeouts.

The Giants, who scored eight times in the first three innings, broke the contest open with a five-run second. San Francisco has won the first two games of the four-game set.
