MLB: Kansas City 11, Chi.White Sox 7

KANSAS CITY, Mo., April 8 (UPI) -- John Buck drove in a run and scored a run in a two-run sixth inning Friday night as Kansas City beat the Chicago White Sox, 11-7.

The Royals rallied from a 6-0 deficit to record their first win.

Angel Berroa also had two hits, scored twice and drove in a pair of runs; Buck was 2-for-3 with two RBI; Angel Berroa also had two hits, scored twice and drove in two; Mark Grudzielanek went 2-for-4 with three runs scored; and in relief, winning pitcher Mike Wood (1-0) yielded one run and four hits in two innings with one walk and one strikeout.

Paul Konerko went 3-for-5 with three runs scored; Jose Uribe had three hits and one RBI; while loser Jon Garland (0-1) allowed nine runs and 10 hits in 5 1/3 innings. The White Sox have lost their past three games.
