VALENCIA, Calif., March 10 (UPI) -- Mitch Adcock carded a 5-under-par 67 Friday to take a one-shot lead after one round of the AT&T Classic on the Champions Tour at Valencia, Calif.
Adcock, who was a Monday qualifier for this event, had seven birdies and two bogeys. He has his first-ever overnight lead on the tour.

Ben Crenshaw and Jay Sigel share second place at 4-under 68, one shot ahead of five players tied for fourth at 3-under 69. That group includes Tom Purtzer, Bruce Fleisher and Gil Morgan.
Six players, including Tom Kite, Larry Nelson and Andy Bean, shot 2-under 70.
