NHL: Edmonton 3, Nashville 2 (OT)

EDMONTON, Alberta, March 5 (UPI) -- Chris Pronger's second goal of the game with 43 seconds left in overtime Sunday night lifted Edmonton to a 3-2 win over the Nashville Predators.

Ryan Smyth scored the other goal; both Ales Hemsky and Jaroslav Spacek had two assists; while goaltender Ty Conklin made 18 saves for the Oilers (32-22-8), who have won two in a row after a four-game losing streak. Edmonton won the season-series, 3-1.

Scottie Upshall and Paul Kariya scored goals; Kimmo Timonen, Shea Weber, Marek Zidlicky and Mike Sillinger added assists; and goalie Tomas Vokoun stopped 39 shots for the Predators (36-20-6), who have lost two of their last three games.

Edmonton easily out-shot Nashville, 42-20 and went 3-for-11 on the power play while the Predators were 1-for-5.
