NHL: Nashville 3, Vancouver 1

NASHVILLE, March 3 (UPI) -- Tomas Vokoun made 41 saves as the Nashville Predators edged the Vancouver Canucks, 3-1, Thursday night.

Greg Johnson scored the game-winning goal shorthanded in the third period for the Predators. Yanic Perreault and Mike Sillinger also scored for Nashville, which won for only the second time in its past six games.

Markus Naslund scored the lone goal for the Canucks, who saw a two-game winning streak come to a halt. Alex Auld allowed three goals on 20 shots in the loss.
