PORTLAND, Ore., Feb. 25 (UPI) -- A 37-point showing by Paul Pierce and 25 points for Wally Szczerbiak put Boston over Portland 102-96 Friday night at the Rose Garden.

Ryan Gomes added 13 points and 17 rebounds in the win.
The Trail Blazers have lost four in a row, despite Martell Webster throwing up career-high 24 points and eight rebounds.
Zach Randolph had 19 points, Darius Miles 16, Steve Blake 13 and Travis Outlaw 11 in the loss.
