NBA: New Jersey 89, Milwaukee 85

MILWAUKEE, Feb. 21 (UPI) -- Vince Carter scored New Jersey's final 14 points and 38 of his 45 points in the second half Tuesday to lead the Nets to an 89-85 win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

Jason Kidd added 12 points, 12 rebounds and 13 assists and Richard Jefferson 14 points for New Jersey, which has won six of its last eight games.

Michael Redd and Bobby Simmons each scored 18 points for Milwaukee, which blew a 16-point lead, on the way to having its six-game home victory streak broken.

Carter had 24 points in the third quarter.
