PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Randy Foye had 22 points, three assists and eight rebounds Sunday as 4th-ranked Villanova beat No.17 Georgetown, 75-65, for its 10th win in a row.
Allan Ray, who sank five three-pointers, added 20 points and four assists; Kyle Lowry totaled 13 points, four rebounds, three assists and three steals; and Mike Nardi had 11 points and two assists for the Wildcats (21-2, 11-1 Big East), who were coming off a 69-64 win over top-ranked Connecticut last Monday.
Roy Hibbert had 20 points, 12 rebounds and three blocked shots; Ashanti Cook scored 16 points; and Jeff Green had 15 points, six rebounds and six assists for the Hoyas (17-7, 8-5), who committed 10 turnovers to only three by the Wildcats and suffered their third straight loss.
Georgetown won the battle of the boards, 30-27.
