COL BKB: Kansas 64, Oklahoma State 49

STILLWATER, Okla., Feb. 14 (UPI) -- Mario Chalmers netted 13 points to lead the 22nd-ranked Kansas Jayhawks past home court Oklahoma State, 64-49, Monday night.

Julian Wright, Sasha Kaun and Brandon Rush each tallied 12 points for Kansas (18-6, 9-2 Big 12), which has won eight straight contests and 15 of its last 17.

For the Cowboys, JamesOn Curry had a game-high 15 points while Mario Boggan had 13 points and eight rebounds for the Cowboys (13-12, 3-8).

Earlier in the day, the team learned head coach Eddie Sutton was taking a medical leave of absence for the remainder of the season. Sutton is recovering from injuries received in a car accident on Friday.

The Jayhawks out-rebounded the Cowboys 43-27 in the game. The teams combined to shoot just 2-of-20 from behind the arc.
