COL BKB: Florida 95, Kentucky 80

GAINESVILLE, Fla., Feb. 5 (UPI) -- Taurean Green had a career-high 29 points and nine assists Saturday night as 7th-ranked Florida humbled Kentucky, 95-80.

The Gators, who trailed by 41-39 at the break, out-scored the Wildcats, 56-39, in the second half.

Joakim Noah had 26 points, eight rebounds and two assists; Corey Brewer had 16 points, four rebounds and four assists; while Al Horford added 11 points and 11 rebounds for the Gators (20-2, 6-2 SEC), who ran their home-court winning streak to 20 games and moved into sole possession of second place in the SEC East, one game behind Tennessee.

Rajon Rondo scored 22 points and four rebounds; Joe Crawford had 19 and 10 rebounds; and Randolph Morris had 14 points, six assists and four rebounds for the Wildcats (15-7, 5-3 SEC), who had their five-game winning streak snapped.

Florida committed 15 turnovers to 17 by Kentucky.
