NHL: Ottawa 7, Pittsburgh 2

PITTSBURGH, Feb. 3 (UPI) -- Daniel Alfredsson had two goals and an assist to lead the Ottawa Senators past the Pittsburgh Penguins, 7-2, Thursday night.

Dany Heatley and Zdeno Chara each had a goal and an assist for the Senators, who rebounded from a 2-0 deficit to end a two-game losing streak.

Antoine Vermette, Mike Fisher and Anton Volchenkov each scored, while Jason Spezza provided three assists in the win.

Dominik Hasek made 22 saves for Ottawa.

Michel Ouellet and Ryan Malone both scored for Pittsburgh, which blew an early two-goal lead and suffered its fourth straight loss.

Trailing by a 2-0 deficit, the Senators scored seven unanswered goals to skate away with a 3


1 mark in the last four meetings with Pittsburgh.
