NBA: L.A. Lakers 100, Miami 92

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 17 (UPI) -- Kobe Bryant scored 37 points as the L.A. Lakers downed the visiting Miami Heat 100-92.

Bryant shot 13-of-24 from the field and made all nine of his free throws.

Lamar Odom had 19 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists for the Lakers, who have won six of their last seven games. Devean George added 17 points and had a key offensive rebound in the final minute.

Dwyane Wade scored 34 points and dished out seven assists for the Heat, who had a four-game winning streak broken. Shaquille O'Neal ended with 18 points and 10 boards and had some heated moments with 18-year-old rookie center Andrew Bynum of the Lakers. Udonis Haslem had 13 points and 12 boards, while James Posey scored 11 for Miami.
