NBA: Memphis 104, Golden State 94

MEMPHIS, Jan. 3 (UPI) -- Eddie Jones and Pau Gasol scored 23 points and 21 respectively Tuesday as the Memphis Grizzlies had a 104-94 win over the Golden State Warriors.

Gasol also had nine assists and seven rebounds for the Grizzlies, who opened up a 20-point halftime lead. Memphis, which has won six of seven, also received 19 points from Bobby Jackson and 16 from Shane Battier.

Jason Richardson scored 20 points and Derek Fisher 18 off the bench for Golden State, which saw its three-game win streak end. Troy Murphy had 17 points and seven rebounds in the loss.
