NFL: Seattle 28, Tennessee 24

NASHVILLE, Dec. 18 (UPI) -- Matt Hasselbeck threw for 285 yards and three touchdowns as Seattle clinched a first-round bye in the playoffs with a 28-24 victory over Tennessee.

Shaun Alexander rushed for 172 yards and a touchdown for the Seahawks (12-2), who won their 10th straight game and tied their franchise record for most wins in a season, set in 1984.

Seattle used a spread-out passing attack as three different receivers caught touchdown passes, including Darrell Jackson, who was playing in his first game since a Week 4 knee injury. Jackson caught six passes for 72 yards and the score.

Bobby Engram added 95 yards receiving on six catches and Jerramy Stevens caught four passes for 53 yards and a touchdown in the win.

Steve McNair threw for 310 yards and a pair of touchdowns without an interception on 23-of-38 passing for the Titans (4-10), who lost for the third time in their last four games.
