Van den Berg leads Dunhill Championship

MPUMALANGA, South Africa, Dec. 10 (UPI) -- Ulrich Van den Berg posted a 7-under 65 Saturday to take a two-stroke lead after three rounds of the Dunhill Championship at 12-under 204.

Ernie Els, three-time winner of this event, shot a 68 to climb into second place at 10-under 206. Els is playing for just the second time since injuring his knee in late July.

Defending champion Charl Schwartzel moved into a tie for third with a 70. He was joined at 9-under 207 by Louis Oosthuizen (71), and Jaco Van Zyl is one stroke further back at after a third-round 69.

The tournament is back on track as the second and third rounds were completed on Saturday, after action was delayed Thursday for over two hours. With the threat of more bad weather Sunday afternoon, players will tee off of split tees for the fourth round on Sunday.
