CHESTNUT HILL, Mass., Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Craig Smith had 20 points and 10 rebounds Saturday to lead eighth-ranked Boston College to a 77-66 victory over Sacred Heart.

John Oates added 15 points for the Eagles (6-0), who were coming off their Las Vegas Holiday Invitational title after beating Oklahoma State last Saturday.

Kibwe Trim had 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Pioneers (1-5), who have lost four straight. Tavio Hobson added 14 points and six assists in the loss.
