Predators, Red Wings game rescheduled

NEW YORK, Dec. 2 (UPI) -- The National Hockey League said Friday the suspended game between Nashville and the Red Wings on Nov. 21 has been rescheduled for Jan. 23 in Detroit.

The game was halted at the 12:30 mark of the first period with Nashville ahead 1-0 after Red Wings defenseman Jiri Fischer collapsed on the team's bench. Fischer was administered CPR by team physicians and transported to a local hospital.

The game will be replayed for the full 60 minutes of regulation, but the Predators will remain ahead 1-0. Greg Johnson will still be credited with the goal with both Ryan Suter and Scottie Upshall getting the assists. All other statistics will be wiped out.

The originally scheduled meeting between the Red Wings and Predators in Nashville on Jan. 23 will take place on March 30.
