EUGENE, Ore., Nov. 20 (UPI) -- Dennis Dixon passed for 204 yards and three touchdowns Saturday to boost 10th-ranked Oregon to a lopsided 56-14 win over arch-rival Oregon State.
Dixon went 12-of-17 with no interceptions, Jonathan Stewart returned a kickoff 97 yards for a touchdown, Terrence Whitehead had 81 yards on 12 attempts while Aaron Gipson had a 60-yard interception return for a score for the Ducks (10-1, 7-1 Pac-10), who have won seven in a row.
In his first start, Ryan Gunderson was 22-of-43 for 179 yards, one touchdown and four interceptions, Mike Hass had 10 receptions for 107 yards, and Yvenson Bernard ran for one touchdown on 33 carries for 128 yards for Oregon State (5-6, 3-5 Pac-10), which finished the season with two straight losses.
