NHL: Ottawa 6, Buffalo 1

OTTAWA, Nov. 12 (UPI) -- Dany Heatley scored two goals and Daniel Alfredsson added a goal and two assists Saturday as the Ottawa Senators posted a 6-1 win over the Buffalo Sabres.

Chris Neil, Jason Spezza and Mike Fisher also scored goals and Ray Emery made 24 saves for the Senators, who have won five straight.

Zdeno Chara added two assists for Ottawa, which continued its best start in franchise history by improving to 13-2 this season.

Derek Roy scored the lone goal and Martin Biron stopped 31 of 37 shots for the Sabres, who lost for the fifth time in their last six games.
