COL FB: West Virginia 38, Cincinnati 0

CINCINNATI, Nov. 10 (UPI) -- Steve Slaton rushed for 129 yards and four touchdowns Wednesday night as 15th-ranked West Virginia rolled over Cincinnati, 38-0.

Freshman quarterback Pat White, making his second start in place of the injured Adam Bednarik, completed 7-of-12 passes for 100 yards and added 111 yards on eight rushing attempts for West Virginia (8-1, 5-0 Big East), which has won eight of nine. Slaton, who had 25 carries, had three scores in the first half for the Mountaineers.

Dustin Grutza went 15-of-21 passing for 110 yards and one interception for the Bearcats (4-5, 2-3 Big East). He was intercepted once.

Cincinnati has lost four of its last six contests. WVU out-gained Cincinnati on the ground, 297-62.
