COL FB: Michigan 27, Penn State 25

ANN ARBOR, Mich., Oct. 15 (UPI) -- Chad Henne hit Mario Manningham with a 10-yard touchdown pass on the game's final play Saturday as Michigan beat 10th-ranked Penn State, 27-25.

Henne went 21-of-36 for 212 yards and threw two fourth-quarter scoring passes, Mike Hart rushed for 108 yards and one touchdown on 23 carries, and Manningham had three catches for 49 yards and two scores for the Wolverines (4-3, 2-2 Big Ten).

Michael Robinson was 19-of-34 passing for 239 yards and one interception. He added two rushing touchdowns for the Nittany Lions (6-1, 3-1), who suffered their first loss of the season.

Tony Hunt had 14 carries for 102 yards for Penn State, which was looking to start a season with seven straight wins for the first time since the 1999 team -- which won nine straight before picking up its first loss.
