MLB: Arizona 3, Chicago Cubs 2

PHOENIX, July 30 (UPI) -- Conor Jackson hit an RBI double in the eight inning Saturday to give Arizona a 3-2 win over the Chicago Cubs.

Jackson, a rookie, recorded his first two major league hits and Troy Glaus went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, his 21st of the season, and scored two runs for the Diamondbacks, who have won three of four.

In relief, winning pitcher Lance Cormier raised his record to 7-1. Greg Aquino tossed the final two innings to nail down his first save.

Neifi Perez had two doubles, one RBI and one run scored for the Cubs, who have dropped three of five.

Losing pitcher Roberto Novoa dropped to 3-4.
