MLB: Cincinnati 11, San Francisco 10

SAN FRANCISCO, July 4 (UPI) -- Jason LaRue had six RBI and Wily Mo Pena three Monday as the Cincinnati Reds outslugged the San Francisco Giants, 11-10.

Reliever Ryan Wagner (3-2) threw two scoreless innings to earn the win for the Reds, who won for just the second time in their last nine games. A total of 13 pitchers were used in the contest.

LaRue, Pena and Ken Griffey Jr. all homered for Cincinnati.

Ray Durham and Deivi Cruz each homered for the Giants, who have lost three straight. Michael Tucker and J.T. Snow each had three hits for the Giants, including two doubles by Tucker.

Jeremy Accardo (0-2) took the loss after allowing two runs in 1 2/3 innings of relief. San Francisco starter Kirk Rueter gave up seven earned runs on nine hits and four walks in four innings.
