Federer, the world No. 1, advanced to the title match on Friday with a decisive 6-3, 6-4, 7-6 (7-4) triumph over third-seeded Lleyton Hewitt. It was the Swiss star's eighth straight win against the 2002 Wimbledon champ from Australia.

Roddick will try for the second year in a row to derail Federer at Wimbledon, as last year's final ended in a 4-6, 7-5, 7-6 (7-3), 6-4 decision for the four-time Grand Slam champ.

It will be the first rematch in a Wimbledon men's final since Stefan Edberg and Boris Becker played in three straight championship matches from 1988-90.
