ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., June 27 (UPI) -- Damion Easley scored the game's only run on a bases-loaded walk Sunday as the Florida Marlins edged Tampa Bay, 1-0.
Winning pitcher A.J. Burnett improved to 5-5. He allowed only two hits in his third complete game of the season with two walks and seven strikeouts.

Juan Pierre had two hits for the Marlins, who have won four straight and five of their last seven.
The Marlins were 10-5 in inter-league play this season.
The Devil Rays were only 3-15. Losing pitcher Seth McClung dropped to 0-3.
He surrendered only two hits and one run over seven innings with three walks and five strikeouts.
