MLB: Atlanta 7, Texas 2

ARLINGTON, Texas, June 14 (UPI) -- Kelly Johnson hit a three-run homer and Julio Franco a two-run homer Tuesday night to power the Atlanta Braves to a 7-2 victory over the Texas Rangers.

Johnson was 3-for-4 with two runs scored as the Braves ended a two-game losing streak.

Jorge Sosa (3-0) got the win as he allowed two runs and five hits in five innings. He struck out seven without a walk.

Pedro Astacio (2-8) took the loss for the Rangers. He gave up six runs on seven hits in 4 1/3 innings. Mark Teixeira hit a two-run homer for Texas, which had a nine-game home winning streak come to an end.
