Senior golf event postponed until Sunday

OVERLAND PARK, Kan., June 11 (UPI) -- Saturday's second round of the senior Bayer Advantage Classic was postponed Saturday until Sunday because of heavy thunderstorms.

The tournament has been reduced to 36 holes for the second straight year after Saturday's weather left the course unplayable.

R.W. Eaks and Gil Morgan share the lead after they each shot 7- under-par 65s on Friday. Jim Ahern had a 66.

Dana Quigley bogeyed the 18th hole to tie for fourth at 67. He was tied with Tom Watson, Rodger Davis, Dick Mast, Gary McCord, Mark McNulty, Lonnie Nielsen, Dan Pohl and two-time champion Jim Colbert.

The first round was completed Friday despite a weather delay prior to the round and a one-hour, 24-minute delay during the round.
