MLB: Chi. White Sox 15, Colorado 5

DENVER, June 8 (UPI) -- Juan Uribe singled in two runs as part of a six-run eighth Wednesday night as the Chicago White Sox pulled away to crush Colorado, 15-5.

Chicago had only a one-run lead going into the eighth, but Uribe keyed the big inning with two of his three RBI. The White Sox pounded out 22 hits.

Jeff Francis (5-3) took the loss by giving up 12 hits and five runs over six innings.

The offensive onslaught made a winner out of Orlando Hernandez (7-1), who allowed four runs on seven hits in six innings.
