PHOENIX, May 27 (UPI) -- Olmedo Saenz broke a tie game with a two-run homer in the eighth inning Friday night, giving the Los Angeles Dodgers a 7-4 win over Arizona.
Jeff Kent hit a grand slam homer in the third to put the Dodgers in front, 4-2. But Arizona tied it in the seventh on a two-run shot by Tony Clark.

That set the stage for the Dodgers' three-run eighth off Jose Valverde (1-2). After Saenz put Los Angeles in front with his homer, J.D. Drew doubled and scored on a single by Antonio Perez.
Despite retiring only one of the three men he faced in the seventh and giving up a run, the win went to Kelly Wunsch (1-0).
