Purdy, O'Hair join World Golf Rankings

PHILADELPHIA, May 16 (UPI) -- Ted Purdy and Sean O'Hair, both of whom were impressive at the Byron Nelson Championship, moved into the Top 100 in the World Golf Rankings Monday.

Purdy, who earned his first career victory on the PGA Tour by beating O'Hair by one shot, jumped 104 spots to No. 69, and O'Hair vaulted 228 positions to No. 96.

Tiger Woods still is No. 1 this week, even after missing the cut for the first time in 142 weeks.

Vijay Singh, Ernie Els, Phil Mickelson and Retief Goosen rounded out the "Big Five."

Chris DiMarco was sixth while Adam Scott, Sergio Garcia, Padraig Harrington and David Toms all held their positions from last week at Nos. 7-10.
