MLB: Chi. White Sox 5, Toronto 3

TORONTO, May 6 (UPI) -- A.J. Pierzynski broke up a tie game with a two-run single in the eighth Friday night as the Chicago White Sox downed Toronto, 5-3.

Chicago won its sixth straight with Jermaine Dye contributing a solo homer.

Orlando Hernandez (4-1) picked up the win by allowing three runs on six hits in seven innings. Dustin Hermanson earned his fifth save.

The loss went to reliever Jason Frasor (1-2), who gave up the go ahead runs in the eighth.

Carl Everett walked with one out in the eighth and went to third on a single by Paul Konerko. Dye walked one out later to load the bases, setting up a bloop single by Pierzynski that delivered the game-winning runs.
