MLB: Chicago White Sox 4, Detroit 3

CHICAGO, April 30 (UPI) -- The Chicago White Sox beat the Detroit Tigers 4-3 Saturday for their record-tying 17th April victory.

Tadahito Iguchi had two hits and two RBI and Scott Podsednik and Joe Crede each added an RBI for the White Sox.

Orlando Hernandez (3-1) was the winning pitcher. He gave up three runs on eight hits in seven innings.

Nook Logan and Rondell White each had two hits and an RBI for Detroit, which lost for just the fourth time in its last 12 games.
