DETROIT, April 20 (UPI) -- Jermaine Dye homered and drove in four runs Wednesday night as the Chicago White Sox overwhelmed Detroit, 9-1.
The White Sox have won five out of six.

Jon Garland (3-0) went eight innings, allowing five hits and two walks.
Neal Cotts picked up the save with a perfect ninth inning. Detroit starter Wilfredo Ledezma (1-1) surrendered six runs on eight hits.
